A fun interpretation of the palapalai fern. This painting was juried into the 2020 Hawai'i Watercolor Society Open Exhibition (online only) and won the Mayfield/Rath People's Choice Award when it was exhibited in 2021.
About Kelly Miyuki Kimura
Born and raised in Hawaii, Kelly paints exclusively in watercolor. Her artwork has earned awards and recognition in exhibitions held by various art shows in Hawaii. She is a signature member of the Hawaii Watercolor Society.
